There was a time when I would have found the idea of a “home page” located on a web site in a place called the Internet preposterous. I remember the days when a computer took up an entire room and a ‘website’ was something we referred to when speaking about a spider and a Facebook page was something no-one had heard of!
In spite of that, I’m pleased to welcome you to my home here in cyberspace.
When I’m not here online, I live in rural Oregon, in a place that has more deer than people. I must admit to yelling at these foraging creatures now and again. They’ve a fondness for my roses. My best guess is that roses taste like candy to deer, since they gobble them up as fast as they bloom.
Still, I love living here. It’s a great place to dream up stories, and telling stories is one of my favorite things to do.
The gift of story is something I praise God for every day. Fiction offers an escape from the rigors of life. But it can be so much more; it can be a realm for discovery and transformation. When we open the pages of a novel, we leave behind our protective shields, and truth has an opportunity to find its way into our hearts. Christ used stories to help us see. When I write, it is my prayer that His truths will carry my readers on a journey that will touch their hearts and change their lives.
I hope you’ll join me on my next writing journey by checking out my books page.
In the meantime, please have a look around and feel free to stay a while. I’ll do my best to keep you up to date on my latest news and events, and I hope you find a book or an idea that’s just what you’ve been searching for.
You can also drop me a note any time through my contact page, and check out my blog site (another new adventure for me) by clicking the link on the sidebar to the right. I’ll post some of your letters there and will do my best to answer your questions as time allows.
Blessings to you,
